FENTY SKIN: Rihanna did that! brand of the week

FENTY SKIN START’RS

FENTY SKIN

I couldn't wait to receive Rihanna's new skin care package in the mail. I was outside learning how to roller skate when my shipment arrived. My son made me step outside of my comfort zone and try something new on my roller skates, in order to complete my lesson and go inside and try these new products.

It was worth the fall. I attempted to slide down the sidewalk hill and fell, all for Rihanna and the new Fenty Skin care trilogy.

I first watched a dozen or so YouTube videos. Many didn't like the smell. I loved it, but I love smell goods, especially those with a gourmand scent.

I stayed up for the early launch and as a 44 year old woman, I had never experienced the chaos of online shopping traffic. I got to go to bed. I have work in the morning. Finally I was able to order the new FENTY SKIN START’RS set. OK, I lied. I had to seek the assistance of my son. He was able to get through. I don't know how. But here we are.

I first used the TOTAL CLEANS'R It was creamy and effective. My skin felt clean. It did smell like cotton candy. $25 is the price tag for this lovely cleanser.

Next I used the FAT WATER PORE-REFINING TONER SERUM. Not sure if I loved it. We shall see. It did give me a clean glow. It retails for $28.

Then finally the reason why I ordered this trio. HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE MOISTURIZER BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30 SUNSCREEN. This worked for me. A little goes a long way. It went on light, easy and invisible. As I write, I just touched my face and it feels smooth. Finding a decent moisturizer with SPF that doesn't leave the skin an ashy complexion makes this product worth every bit of the $35 price tag.

Overall, I loved how these products felt on my face. I thought the price point was accessible, but affordability is subjective. If purchased as a set, FENTY SKIN START’RS retails for $75.
